Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Admission

Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program must:

  1. Meet General University Requirements
    • Complete secondary education with a scientific track diploma
    • Achieve the minimum required GPA set by Kuwait University
    • Pass the university entrance examination or meet alternative admission criteria
  2. College of Science Requirements
    • Demonstrate proficiency in mathematics and sciences
    • Complete placement tests in Mathematics and English
    • Meet minimum score requirements on standardized tests
  3. Program-Specific Prerequisites
    • Strong background in pre-calculus and calculus
    • Recommended: Advanced mathematics courses at secondary level
    • English language proficiency (TOEFL iBT 79+ or IELTS 6.0+)

Transfer Students

Transfer students must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.50 from their previous institution
  • Complete at least 50% of major requirements at Kuwait University
